Review of the older standard manual Dimplex XL storage heater range

Typically two simple controls were all that was provided on the Dimplex XL manual storage heater, an Input control to regulate the amount of heat stored overnight and an Output control which could be adjusted to release a small boost of heat over the evening period.

Naturally first thing in the morning the casing would be hot to the touch and by the evening the casing would be cool, but the heater was still releasing useful heat from the Output control / damper valve.
